This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Synthetik Media AI-powered video and media generation platform (the "Service"). This policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.

You may not use the Service to create, upload, store, or distribute any content that:

• Sexual acts or sexual content involving minors (this will result in immediate permanent ban and report to authorities)

• Content promoting or glorifying violence
• Content depicting torture, abuse, or cruelty
• Content promoting self-harm or suicide
• Instructions for creating weapons or explosives

1.3 Hate & Harassment

• Content promoting hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Harassment, bullying, or threats against any individual
• Content promoting terrorism or extremist ideologies
• Doxxing or sharing private information without consent

1.4 Illegal Content

• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Content promoting illegal activities
• Drug trafficking or promotion of illegal drug use
• Fraudulent or deceptive content

1.5 Intellectual Property Violations

• Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Unauthorized use of branded content or logos
• Pirated or counterfeit material

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not engage in the following activities:

2.1 Service Abuse

• Attempting to circumvent usage limits or credit systems
• Using automated tools to access the Service without authorization
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers
• Creating multiple accounts to abuse free tiers or promotions

2.2 Deceptive Practices

• Creating deepfakes or synthetic media of real individuals without their consent
• Generating content intended to deceive or mislead others
• Impersonating other individuals or organizations
• Creating fake news or disinformation
• Using generated content to manipulate financial markets

2.3 Spam & Malicious Use

• Generating content for spam or unsolicited communications
• Creating content to facilitate phishing or scams
• Using the Service to distribute malware or viruses

3. AI Generation Guidelines

When using our AI generation features, please follow these guidelines:

3.1 Responsible Use

• Use prompts responsibly and in accordance with this AUP
• Do not attempt to bypass content safety filters
• Review generated content before publishing or sharing
• Consider the potential impact of your generated content

3.2 Real People

• Do not generate content depicting real individuals in compromising, illegal, or defamatory situations
• Obtain consent before generating content featuring identifiable real people
• Do not create synthetic media intended to damage someone's reputation

3.3 Disclosure

We encourage you to disclose when content is AI-generated, especially in contexts where viewers might reasonably expect authentic content. Some jurisdictions may require disclosure of AI-generated content by law.

4. Enforcement

We take violations of this AUP seriously. Enforcement actions may include:

No Refunds: If your account is terminated for violation of this AUP, you will not receive a refund for any unused credits.

Appeals: If you believe your account was terminated in error, you may contact us at support@synthetikmedia.ai. We will review your case, but we reserve the right to maintain our decision.

5. DMCA & Copyright

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

5.1 Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe content on our Service infringes your copyright, please send a DMCA takedown notice to support@synthetikmedia.ai including:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on our Service
4. Your contact information (address, telephone number, email)
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

5.2 Counter-Notification

If your content was removed and you believe it was done in error, you may submit a counter-notification including:

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the material that was removed and its former location
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
4. Your name, address, and telephone number
5. A statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the federal court in Wyoming

5.3 Repeat Infringers

We will terminate accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.
